I acquired a Swedish snow jacked and decided on some modifications.

Decided to dye it a rusty brown colour,

Modified by the addition of new wooden buttons, replaced all cords with 550 par accord and toggles, added a hood retainer and glint tape marker to the rear , a Velcro attached colour coded Union Jack to the breast and a small Union Jack to the arm.

I tried the same with a poly mix of the same jacket, (not 100% cotton) thought it would come out brown...because of the man made fibre it came out a light pinky/sandy colour, and the buttons were pink, very annoying. the Jacket was ruined and binned years ago!
