Needs a lil tickle on sharpening stones

Glad I've got its twin already. I was lucky enough to find one some years in an antique shop in Saffron Walden to replace the one I was given- and lost - as a small boy.

Good luck with the sale, they are intriguing design wise and good steel.

I am sorely tempted...how worn is the edge? Does it fit nicely in the handle? Any movement due to use/wear? Cheers j

It fits snugly in the handle.
It can stick a lil in the handle to come out of handle
Very little noticeable movement
The edge isnt worn and would soon be put right on stones i just havent gotten round to it

You soon develop a slick way of doing this. It becomes second nature. Similarly, putting it back.
