Weekend Bump & Price Drop!!

Not what I normally collect, so rather than it sit in a dark drawer I'm offering up this barrel knife. Blade is stamped E.T. SEGERSTROM, ESKLLSTUNA and the brass scales have SEGERSTROM, ESKLLSTUNA, SWEDEN. The blade stamp is clearish, but the town name is worn. The brass scales are nice and clear.
Closed length is 4" Blade length from bolster to tip is just a tad under 3", Blade width is 12mm
I've not tried to do too much with it except give it a quick polish with some flitz as I like the aged patina of the steel. Everything is nice and "tight" and the blade has a good "lock-up" when assembled.
The barrel looks like curly birch and I assume that the blade is 01 - just rubbed a diamond stone over it and it takes a keen edge :)
Segerstrom was one of the foremost makers and was in production from 1864 - 1925 so at least it's 80 odd years old - could be older.

Don't know how to pitch this, but from what I've seen - £135 NOW £100 !!! including pp and RMRD (Always Open To Cash Offers :) )
Please - You must be over 18yrs old to buy and this is a sale - No Trades Please :)

It's a beauty of a knife and something I've long coveted but sadly being out of a job means I just can't justify buying it :(

Good luck with the sale though

I too have one but it has no makers marks at all, also waiting with interest as I never even knew what it was.
Good luck with the sale.
Cheers mr.p
