Have a couple members of the forum from previous years moved to Sweden??

Anyone in touch with them?
Or has anyone looked into the feasibility and criteria for moving to Sweden?

TIA

I've come the other way. Sadly Brexit has made things a lot harder now.

Getting a 'personnummer' (civic registration number) is the key to everything.

Mike from McQ bushcraft on sweden did a move, in his series on sweden loads of advise and feasibility, a must watch for research

Nice one - cheers.

I had a random chat with someone making the move the other day and have decided to investigate further.

I'll keep an eye on this thread.

It does seem a bit of a mine field to do. (Like TeeDee I have mused about it myself). My line of work is quite unique so finding a job in Sweden with my skill set appears challenging!

You can get a work permit as a self-employed person if you fulfill a set of requirements. Setting up a business in Sweden isn’t as easy as becoming a sole-trader in the UK, but it might be a good way for someone with an unusual but marketable skill set.

Thats my problem! My skill set doesn't fit the requirements!
