I bought one from these guys a few months ago. Cracking bit of kit, used it at the last meet to make a slap up breakfast.
They forgot to include the burner and bottle, but posted them out no problem.

Yeah, I was loving the billy as that was the main reason for buying, then thought hang on!
Ditto Addo's recent purchase. Bloody good bit of kit for the price. I like the stainless version over the aluminium, despite the weight difference.
Postage looks a bit steep!
I have both types (alu and s/s) but find I tend to use the alu ones more. The alu ones are pretty bullet-proof in their own right, and cook better in my opinion - less risk of scorching things like stews. And are half the price, to boot!

What Andy said I have been using the alumninium ones for a few weeks and it's great I got mine from Military mart..

That'll be because their additional items are sent 'free' ~ where 'free' equals being built into the price (I do a similar thing).

There's a place on the A4103 about ten miles north-east of Hereford that was knocking them out for a tenner last time I was there. Just looked on the Web to see if they were advertising and they've put the price up to GBP 12.95 but it seems to be the same thing. They charge shipping per order, for UK orders it's GBP 6.95 up to 30kg which could get you quite a few mess tins.
They seemed a bit light on stock when I was there but it was a while ago and I don't think they'd been there long.
No connection etc.

Ged, thats the aluminium version? and the one I linked is stainless steel. I know some folk still have a hang up (un-founded though it may be) about using aluminium pots
I really dislike these sets but if they rock your boat then go for them.
The seller (Hoodsuk) have been around a while, I've had a few things off them over the years, their prices are not bad; few other items from them

Good question. The photo on the page I linked to does indeed look like one of an aluminium version. It also looks to be in excellent condition! But when I was there they were selling only stainless ones for ten quid, and they, well, didn't look quite so new.
You have precious little room for manoeuver with things like this if things go wrong. Although Addo's missing kit was put right by the supplier, it's difficult to see how they could have 'forgotten' to send them. Many items of used kit will have missing or damaged parts, and I suspect that many suppliers will just try it on in the knowledge that they'll get away with it most of the time. That's why I normally prefer to buy personally over the counter, so I can inspect the item that I'll be purchasing before I hand over the cash.
