Below is my attempt at a sporran. Its the ozhaggis pattern and am pretty pleased with it. It holds loads which is a big plus as every sporran I own/have seen struggles with the basics.
Its made with veg-tan leather that I bought on ebay (20sq ft for £7!) and the black pieces were dyed with home made vinegroon (which stank beyond belief).
The vinegroon dried in a blueish colour to start with which had me worried but when it was treated with neatsfoot oil, it came up a shiny black. The oil got rid of the smell as well which was a bonus.
any comments (positive/negative) appreciated.
