Some bits and pieces carved from Ash

I've been busy carving these recently. I was lucky enough to get an Ash log, cut by the council's tree surgeons, that was overhanging a friend's garden. Knowing that I like to carve, my friend was kind enough to ask the tree surgeons to save a bit for me. One of the small oblong platters has been earmarked for her for christmas, hopefully presented laden with home made shortbread.

I can only hope that Apple computers don't sue me for blatantly plagiarising their "rectangle with round corners" unique intellectual property!
