i just need to decide the length of thonging and if i want to add some bear cream to the veg tan to influence the colour and waterproof it (and add that woodsmoke smell)

Thanks hamish. I wont be competing with you any time soon but I'm happy with it.
Ive trimmed the thongs down a bit and applied a thin layer of bear creamwhich has darkened up the veg tan a little

Had a play with this today. Nicely holds pocket strop. Ouch pouch. Bug repellent. Kellam fixed blade pocket knife.match safe and spark stick. Cree pocket torch. Tinder tin. Room for hipflask too I think

the hip flasks a must mate....if theres no room, get rid of all that bushcrafty stuff....its overrated lol....PRIORITISE! second most important thing is something to keep ones goatee immaculate!
