So bivy army medium bag which if the sticker is to be believed only washed once by me. Bought army sleeping bag liner to keep it clean but it’s bit tight to be honest.
So not sure weather to bother or make one out of a sheet or find bigger one. What’s thoughts on liners ?

Yes just tested mine in front room and apart from being bit to snug I dread to think if I start swapping sides I can see it getting right twist on. Shame because it would be handy to keep bag clean plus add bit warmth

That’s good idea I was thinking of sewing up a sheet but sure we got few single quilt covers laying around. I will swipe one when Mrs ain’t looking

Soldiers will confirm or contradict me but the salmon pink liner that came with my 90 pattern system was awful. How on Earth you’d responded to a night attack I have no idea. You were trusted up and ready for the oven. Mine had narrow Velcro all over it but there was no corresponding Velcro in the sleeping bag so I’m guessing I had two different issues. The linen bag liner just disintegrated but the rest of the system is going strong.

I have two liners that I use with both my sleeping bags.
One is a Go-Outdoors poly cotton slip liner which isn’t too bad.
The other is a zipped fleece. That stays where it’s put and it’s great in cold weather or on its own in warmer conditions.

Both are very washable and quick drying.

I have a silk liner with my down bag mostly just to try and keep it cleaner for longer. Sometimes get a wee bit trussed up in it but it's not too bad, and it's a similar size to my bag, maybe even a wee bit more generous. And sleeping in silk is nice!

Was never issued a liner with my army bag, but never cared about keeping it clean anyway. Always slept fully clothed and sometimes even booted!
