Simple Question: Eggen or Fjellkniven

I'm going to get one or the other. pros / cons? Alternatives I've not thought of?

I've never tried a Fjellkniven but I do have a Eggen which I rate highly.

TBH Helle make good knifes and I wouldn't think you would be too disappointed whatever one you ended up choosing (just don't expect to get a spark off the spine:rolleyes: )

Thanks. I was not well yesterday and totally forgot to do a search before I posted :eek:. I'll do like I have with my clipper and adapt the sheath so that I can take the striker that comes with the firesteel with me.

i wonder if it would be possible to file a reccess in the blade back to get down to harder steel giving a better edge fromw hich to strike the firesteel.
