Reindeer hair is hollow (an aid to insulation
) and 'breaks' ~ so it doesn't so much shed hair as lose damaged bits .
Length is roughly 120cm ~ not too sure where the standard width measurement is taken but, as you can see in the pic below, it fits nicely into a Land Rover chair ~ I'm happy to take further pics and or measurements.
