Short Bimble on the Shortest Day - pics

Enjoyed a bimble with my old mucker Hugo today, Rockmonkey couldn't make it today, as i think he was fitting his caravan with floats.

Didn't wander that far today, but it didn't matter, still had a great day out with some great company.

Walking in, not as muddy as i had thought it might had been considering the awful weather we had yesterday.

Great display of Jelly Ears to give it it's politically correct name

i only wanted a small wind screen for the next brew

final look out over the brooks before heading down slope and back to the cars,

great day out, just a shame RM couldn't join us on this one, always next week of course, got to go for a proper long bimble next week to work off the Christmas excess.

Drove to Brighton and back yesterday to see the grandkids and thought about you as I drove by Lancing and Arundel and saw the flooded fields. Like you say, I'd have thought it would have been muddier, but I guess your bimble was a bit higher up and a good bit had run off.

Aye you missed a good one , didnt see any deer this week though, but there was plenty of bird life around
