Sheepshead

I was just getting excited about the approaching hunting season and then somebody posted this nice pair of Sheepshead! Now I want to go fishing again!

Nice looking fish though I do wonder how big they are without the false perspective they used in the photo

Having seen sheepshead up close, that perspective makes them seem a bit small TBH. The minimum legal size is 12" Average is 18" to 24"

Although, looking at that pic again, they do look to be about that range I guess.

Reminded me of the bloke who went into the butchers and asked if he had a sheepsheed and the butcher said it was just the way he combed his hair, I'll get ma coat...
