Hi, I am a blind whittler who needs help on sharpening. I am looking for a sharpening system that fixes both the blade and angle of stone and then brings the to together. I purchased the spyderco sharpmaker thinking that this was what it would do. If your familiar with the sharpmaker you know that you need to bring the blade down on the stone at a perfict vertical so that the angle is proper. I am not able to continually make that angle the same each time I bring the knife down. I was looking into the edgepro and was wondering if anyone might have any other advice on what would be good. if the edgepro does what I want and if there is a system out there that might be what I'm looking for.
