I was captivated by Robin of Sherwood first time round. Took a little while to get used to Jason Connery when he turned up but eventually thoroughly enjoyed that too.

Oddly enough I'm watching the ru-runs at the moment. A little uncomfortably now as I can spot the weaknesses I missed before. It sill has a magic about it I find compelling though.

Even as a youngster I had trouble with a Saxon worshipping a Celtic god, though.

I watched the originals in the early eighties and was enthralled. I own all of them now and have to admit to still being rather fond of it. The first and second series stories written by Richard Carpenter are great - very nostalgic for me.
