I unearthed my grandfathers WWII issue knife the other day (blade, can-opener and marlin-spike) it's a bit corroded, stiff and the main blade is slightly bent. I would love to refurb it but a quick search only gives the idea of soaking it in vinegar but I'm not sure of how it would effect the handle, joints and rivets. Any advice most welcome, thanks
