Bathroom sinks. Mostly pine but some pecky cypress in the wall

You are right though John its nice wood. I know marble worktops are low maintenance, but I
I think wood worktops would have suited better.

I love wood, but that lot's just not to my taste. Too 'brutal', iimmc……bet those fireside ornament things are a right beggar to clean too.
No harmony in that place.

There are three things (all minor, all done by some daft female "room dresser") that are wrong with Southey's cabin though. Can anyone spot all three?

I don't think I've spotted any of them - unless you count a mat on the floor between the sink and cooker......................

your house!
Candles and rugs on the fire place. Why would you clump them candles like that. Blankets should be stowed unless in use else they'll be mothed.

Random empty sweet jar on table in kitchen. Rug in kitchen. Usefull copper pot only accessible to giants or gymnast. Odd things on systern though they coukd be some kond of smelly. Flowers on a coffee table.

Very close indeed Southey. My only amendment would be "flowers and random pointless ornaments on the coffee table, the net effect of which is to make it a useless table for a tea tray, or decanter tray"

As soon as I take possession of the building all the previous owners nick-nacks will be gone and I will decorate in my own personal taste ... it needs some vintage firearms and sharps on the walls - and a few good books - dotted around, fewer candles (they will be in the preps cupboard) and flowers and more racks for easily reachable good booze!
Oh - and a decent supply of logs near the fire!
