anyone know where I can get a Stanley G150 (similar to tthe Franny B) service?

What I'm after is a general once over plus the old luminous bits replaced with new tritium. And maybe replacing the Mils dial for a degrees one.

'This lovely chap, Stuart, will repair/refurbish/clean a Stanley G150 prismatic compass for a reasonable price. He can be contacted by e-mail at:

He just cleaned, refurbished, re-calibrated and replaced 5 GTLS lights in mine for �60. Very reasonable rates.

However, he does this as a hobby, not a business, but turnaround is fairly quick.'
