Polisher / Grinder.......getting the right hump !

Bit of a rant !........

i'm looking to buy a bench mounted grinder / polisher, nothing big or fancy as i mainly want it for polishing work.

I've looked on Amazon and the Bay and found just what i need, but.........they don't ship to Northern Ireland, Highlands or Islands, Isle of Man........what's all that about then !!

where can i get a bench mounted, reasonably priced 240v polisher / grinder ?

depends what you want and how quick

I got a good little 1/2HP 6" Hilka bench grinder for £10 at the Car boot sales and bought the pigtails to convert it to Polishing
but its not really Car boot season at the moment

Ive upgraded to a 900w 8" grinder from axminster tools and converted one end to polishing

Ive got a 'hilka' grinder not being used in the garage,i replaced the original carborundam wheels with a white stone wheel and a felt polisher wheel on the other end,not sure how economical these are to post though??

I use my pillar drill. The polishing discs are mounted on spare bolts clamped into the drill chuck
