Visited the Eden Project in July and came across a section devoted to Plant Dyes.

Woad

Madder

Japanese Indigo

Pokeweed

Oregon Grape

Staghorn Sumach

Canadian Goldenrod

Dyer's Chamomile

Dyer's Greenweed

Slow Colour

Weld

Rhubarb

Nettle

It was a very nice section of the Eden Centre and had to be dragged away from it by my family.

that looks really intresting, it is good to see they are actually experimenting with what they are growing. Most collections of useful plants have plaques next to the plant and places do nothing with them.

Oregan grape fruits make the most mad pink colour, that turns blue with acid, I have always wondered if it would die anything.
