Plant ID: Mentha aquatica?

Did it have a square stem and smell of mint when the leaves were crushed?

Square stem yes and strong smell of mint. That's how i came to find out about it. I thought it looked a bit like basil so just crushed one of the leaves for the hell of it. Didn't actually expect it to be aromatic!
