Hi Folks,
We have recently moved into the somerset countryside from Bristol. The last few weeks we have been busy exploring the local lanes, public footpaths and woods, and identifying foraging spots. We've already found plenty of elder, green hazelnuts, blackberries, raspberries, gooseberries, sorrel etc.
However, in the local woods I have come across something that could be wild red currents but I'm not confident enough to taste at this stage. Any thoughts?
I have also found what I think is burdock - again, anyone game to confirm my ID?
Thanks! Any comments gratefully received.
