I worked hard on that!
I put a rope strap on it, the shape hangs very neatly.
This ones for a school handling box but Id like to make one for myself...when I can afford sufficient leather. Anyhow this is going to be my college bag tommorrow. (I generaly use a dandy leather satchel I picked up at the market and everyone is green with envy over.)
It was made from the skirts of a re enactors Civil war buff coat so its got a bit of wear and tear. Im told it may be horsehide.

That is a really beautiful and practical bag, a real work of art, I have always fancied having a go at leatherwork but don't know where to start, thank you for sharing it with us
