That's right. UK law says that is is illegal to uproot ANY wild plant without 'authorisation'. I'm lucky that I have landowners who are interested in what I am doing with wild plants and have no problem about me wandering around their land... In doing so I can also act as another pair of eyes on their property which can be a good way paying them back for their hospitality.
