Permanent Bell Tent - what to put underneath?

Hi all - This is my first post on this site and I'm desperately seeking some help/advice - I'm not sure if I have posted this in the correct place but I was wondering if anyone has a permanent bell tent set up and if so, what have you put underneath? Have raised platforms been used or placed directly onto the floor?

To give context, I'm opening a forest school for kids aged 2-5 in April and we have an Emperor tent and a bell tent to put up as our shelter and need to figure out the best way/what to construct them on?

Under floor of pallets with a solid plywood for the actual floor will do you quiet nicely

I used pallets with Swedish army wooden stillages as the base and side wall this also gave it the old arctic expedition feel

Thank you so much for your swift replies - the pallet and ply option seems to suit what we are looking to achieve

Put a layer of course gravel under the pallets, for drainage. They will last much longer. Pallets are made from wood and chipboard that is not impregnated.

Plastic pallets are much more commonly used now than the old wooden ones, you can find them quite cheap. Not too long ago many places were struggling to give old wooden pallets away as no one was really using them anymore.

If you use those plastic pallets and Marine Grade plywood, the floor will last forever!
