Decided to sell this, it’s more than I need and having read the Keela Ventile thread I just want to go back to a lower maintenance jacket.

Anyone unsure of the jacket is advised to check the specs, there are at least 9 pockets and some very handy pit zips, everything is very well designed. There were two foam strips that were in the back when I got it. I took them out and have no idea where they went, they made the coat a weird shape at the back.

This is the original Halcon, before the ‘Halkon’ name change. I think I got it 2020 or 2021. It was washed in the Nikwax stuff last year and given a good spray of TX.Direct. A bit too much as it dried with some marks. I’m going to leave it as is and not attempt to get the sheen off the cuffs, wash it, or apply any more proofer.

There’s a half bottle of proofer left that I can include if you want it.

I see these at £320 new, and this is in good used condition. Size L. More pics upon request.

£140 inc the postage.

Yawning dog :)

I'll go £130 on this as there's one on eBay with its stitching coming undone at around £140, so £130 sounds like a reasonable deal.

Hmm, I was hoping a Saturday night of boozing might persuade someone giving in ;):D. How about I add this pretty lighter? It’s been by struck a few times but otherwise new.

Or, these wicked Petrified Fish scissors. Brand new in box.

I don’t need that sort of temptation!!

I am not sure why this hasn’t been grabbed. It just needs a wash and it will have decades of life. My Mk1 Alta was bought in summer 2001 and is only now showing some wear.
My buddy was a pipe smoker and complained that his Cascada jacket wasn’t waterproof, even after proofing. I suspected it was due to tar buildup since everything else he spent time close to was covered in it. I gave the coat a hand wash and scrub with real detergent and it looked like a crude oil leaking from the coat! Gave it a machine wash or two, then hand reproofing and it was back up and beading water when I gave i5 back.
