On Measuring Antlers

Now heres me into HORN craft.

But I do get distracted by the leavings of the Cervid tribe...

I have got some nice antlers now, all cast, from various deer. I would like to be able to measure them.

The Boone and Crocket club system is good, and allows for casts as well as full heads...but not for European deer.

Would I treat my Fallow deer antlers in the same way as Moose, for example? (both are palmated)

Pope & Young is for archery but the same system as B&C?
Check with Field&Stream Magazine online. Their readership must be more global.
Personally, I think the most acceptable system looks reasonable but still arbitrary.
