picked this up today for just a few quid




it works just fine. boiled one pint of water in just under five minutes.

I have one too, great little stoves although mine is a bit more rusty than yours. Car boot sale bargain?

I remember my mum and dad had one when i was a small boy, they never used it though, for some reason i just remember seeing it.....

They are a good littler 'boiler' I had my first one from the Scout Shop in brum in the 60's, cost me 5/- (thats 25p for you nippers).

You can easily use a Trangia burner in them they fit a treat and you have the simmer ring with it making this 'boiler' a proper stove
