I have decided that I just don't use this knife so it has to go, no point holding onto kit for the sake of it I think.

It's a case from 1979 I think, this is judging from the handle material and the logo (I'm happy to be put right if this is in error!)

http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/wr_case/about_case_knives/date_identification.php that link shows that the logo used was either the 1965-1969 or 1970-1979 model and this link http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/wr_case/about_case_knives/handle_material.php shows the handle material (A6) was used from 1979 onwards.

The full details are A62351/2

Handle - A6 - AppaloosaBlades - 2
Pattern - 35 - 3 1/4" Jack Knife
Blade - 1/2 - Clip Master Blade

Anyway, it's in pretty good shape for a 34 year old knife! Just a little age showing on the blades but it doesn't look like its seen action. I'm asking £45 including recorded delivery.

Cheers,
Joe.

If you check the serial number it will have 'ss' or 'cv' or 'd' as the last 2 digits. This indicates the steel type (ss= surgical steel, cv =chrome vanadium, d is damascus)
