I've seen the moon that large as it rises over here Geraint. It shrinks as it gets higher.

It's something to do with atmospheric refraction or something similar. I's the same for sunrises and sets

Thanks Steve. Coming to think of it I can't remember the last time I saw the moon rise. Next full moon I must make an effort.

its forced perspective the creator of the video says he was using 1300mm equivalent focal length from 2.1km away, basically he's zoomed right in on the people with the moon rising beyond them
