I spotted a thread a while ago over on Song of the paddle and given the fact that the subject was obviously junk but that the response seemed to guide the original poster away safely, I refrained from getting involved but then today I spotted that it had been updated and I was mortified!

So I quickly (too quickly) clattered out a well meaning response:

Seriously though, He's hit very lucky with his "catch", the boat looks almost new and probably worth another couple of hundred quid to be honest.
