Not ready to mothball Woodlands and Hammocks for this year yet

Does any of you know about any campsites/private woods around Bristol and the southwest?
Somewhere I make a fire without upsetting people. Preferably woods so I can sling a hammock and watch the robins hopping about.

I can't answer your question but I also agree, I am planning another 'jaunt', it feels rather early to winter.
