Well, I managed to get out for a couple of days and drive down to the Elverum area (6 hours from where I'm currently working for a couple of weeks). My main reason was to go to the Skogsmusseet - the Norwegian museum of forestry and hunting\trapping. I only had 2 hours there - which was nowhere near enough - and just scratched the surface.

Basically, if you ever go to Norway, you MUST go there as a bushcraft enthusiast.

Hunting, fishing, wood industry, anthropology, knife making, historical buildings, boats, animals, fish, you name it!

I'll write a bit more soon but they're about to kick me out of the internet room!:D

Sounds interesting mate - I work in the forestry industry and to my knowledge we dont have an equivalent place in the UK:( - sad I think as we also have a great tradition of woodsmanship.
