Well this is a quick turnaround! only seems like a few days ago we were getting drenched at North Wood! I normally hold these meets over the last weekend of the chosen month, but we can't compete with the big fella in red can we?
Again I will say there is no real agenda to our meets, unless someone pipes up to say 'can anyone help me with XYZ please', in which case those more knowledgeable will I'm sure lend a hand. there will be the usual re-stocking of the woodpile to see us through the colder months ahead, all help gratefully received bring the necessary tools!
Small personal fires are allowed, just remember no live wood to be cut down dead standing and windfall only.
there was a discussion at the October meet about the possibility of getting a bigger wet weather shelter for the communal area. to this end I am going to ask for a further £1 per night (max 2 nights per meet) until we have enough funds.
