Hi,
I would like to meet up / have a stomp around drink a beer etc... up in north wales is any one planing to go out any time soon?

Keep an eye out for the northern meets, last one was at Delamere, not N Wales I know but not far away. There are a few people around your area, if you have a site in mind post the details and decide a date, a local meet doesn't take much organising, book it and they will come!

Will do just that then - there are plenty of woods near me will look in to it and post up when I have a location. If only my local had trees in the car park

if your ever going out for a weekend its always good to put a post up a week or so b4 you may get someone interested or you may spend the weekend alone you never know but worth putting a post up anyway

Will be out this week to find a site - have pawed over my maps and seen two pos three site.....................
The big question is I like to walk with all my kit, so some might find it hard going.
should I find some were with parking???

The few meets that I have been on have had parking nearby, so IMHO it would be a plus point. Good luck.

Tried out one of the sites last night - not family friendly - not realy friendly to any one. Have looked over the map and will be out over the weekend.

Ok a likely site is on the cards - we my need to show some forestry students what we do - but thay will be the forestry managers of the future so.........................If all goes well should have some dates soon
