went for a good walk on friday with a very good friend we started at some local woods and tapped two birch trees for the first time. we were suprised just how easy it was to do. we collected about 1 ltr then went on with the walk we stopped at some hazel trees that went into a wood as we walked in we could smell onions then relised that we were walking on wild garlic a carpet of wild garlic in fact.we collected some for are lunch en route went into the queens estate and cooked steaks wrapped in wild garlic washed down with cider. Im sure the queen would have loved it but HRH was not home.
