I'm just finishing a knife in Birdeye maple. It's hard as nails and finished to something like bone. If anyone wants a couple of scale sized bits give me a shout. I've got a piece about 24"x6"x3". Thats an awful lot of knives ;

I'll try to get some pictures in day light, just tried it with the flash and it's bleached it out.
