Newbie Tarp setup! Advice needed!

Hey folks so I purchased a DD 3x3 tarp and a travel hammock and it arrived today. I set up the tarp in my back garden with my limited knowledge of setting up tarps. Please take a look and tell me how I did if you could recommend your favourite tarp setups for wind/rain/general. If you could also tell me what knots I should learn to best tie up tarps that would be great thanks! - I do intend to try sleeping in this tonight

the DD site has some loads of set ups here

knot wise I'd recommend learning these knots off by heart first, - Figure eight knot, bowline, round turn two half hitches, reef knot, clove hitch. these are what I used to start with with when teaching my Scouts. Once you got those off by heart then learn more

I prefer constrictor to clove hitch, depending on use.
Google "Surrey six" for a neat backpocket teach-in.
