That's lovely work... something to aspire to. What is the colour you used on the birch burl and how do you get the scales so darn shiny??

I brought the scales already coloured! they where stabalised as well.

I got it shiney with lots of elbow grease followed by polishing mop!

Well i have been making some that i could sell at a reasonable price, so to have a well built but still cheap knife i cut down on handle shaping. As you see on most commercial knives, and its saves LOTS of time.

But now i have decided that i will leave the cheap knives to company's who make massed produced knives, and from now on i will make individual knives and if i sell, will charge a bit more.
