new axe

so if you remember i brought a 15£ axe before nothing special but it has now come off the handle and after learning some new skills with it in 6 months i would like to upgrade but dont no what route to go down weather to by a axe head of fleebay and make a handle or buy a brand new axe if so which axe would you buy and why ?

will this one be good for carving and splitting though ?

Now you're asking a question. It will rough out a spoon or a kuksa, and it will split kindling, it is a very good small camp axe. If you are looking for a carving axe or splitting axe, then you need to look for dedicated axes.
