Having already posted pics of the axe I restored yesterday, I thought she better have a mask to keep her looking nice.

Reclaimed leather from an old satchel, bit of glue, some rivets and 45mins later...voila...

more rivets when I have the time. this was more of a practice run that went well than a carefully thought out project. its only the 2nd one ive done.

With more rivets there is no need for this to be a practice as that looks well done to me.

Out of interest what glue have you used, never had much truck with 'leather' glue, looks better than many after market sheaths, and plus points for recycling.

I used wickes strong contact adhesive, good initial grab one left to go tacky. Got some more rivets in the edge and reshaped the bottom a bit, all finished.
