Needed A Thistle Wacker.

So are thistle wacker has gone missing. Needed to improvise some thing...

Found a dropper...






Hammered it flat,with a slight curve.




Some twine for a handle.









Put a very rough edge on it with the grinder and off to work.

Its worked very well, hopefully when we find the real one

I can show you what the proper one looks like...

Indeed, its as rough as a badgers bits. But with the time constants and the fact I've been wading through waist high bracken in the rain appearances were the last thing on my mind
