Does it have to be a Nalgene?
If not I can recommend one of the Klean Kanteen range, I have a few and the 40oz wide mouth one will also nest snugly into a stainless GSI glacier cup if that's a consideration.
I think you can boil water with it, bit weird that it is associated with Nalgene famed for their BPP free plastics. Might have to look into these myself.
Cheers for all your replies gentleman. Maybe I should have explained a bit better. I'm actually looking for a bottle that will nest into the Stanley adventure cook pot. It doesn't have to be stainless steel but the backpacker is the only 1l bottle I can find that tapers so the pot fits over the bottle then the gsi mug fit over the bottom of the pot. It's for a new cook set I'm putting together that fits into a maxpedition 10 x 4 style bottle pouch.
