Out of interest and considering where you are based and the usage of axes as I guess a tool of everyday heritage - how do you get on with the Axes you have there with manmade handles vs a more wood and metal conventional axe??
I've not used a fibreglass handled axe before so I literally don't have an axe to grind in this.

I don´t quite understand the question; a handle is a handle. Perhaps it matters for a proffessional what material the handle is but not for me.
I guess I was expecting a wood and metal axe based from where you are in the world and its very active timber industry.
I believe ( I maybe wrong ) Fibreglass handled axes are deemed by some to be a bit of a modern day thing - but if they work , they work.
I guess my question was ,did you decide upon manmade handles after using more conventional axes or have you always used them.
Bought the Fiskars because it was what I could afford. And I am not a traditionalist.
And reason for taking this photo was that I had my stuff little little there and decided to put them all in one place in a duffel bag. Stuff is easier to find when all in one place.

I’ve had my little plastic handled hatchet for nearly thirty years. There isn’t any sign that it might come loose and I wouldn’t expect any such sign for the next thirty.
I have two of them. One got lost in long grass for a couple of years; long enough for the stainless steel head to rust quite thoroughly. The handle remained unaffected.
If I used an axe all day every day then there might be a difference in the feel and the grip. In the days when I did use a five pound axe daily they were all wood so I can’t compare.
If I had an axe head I might try to make my own handle just to see whether I could - as I have done with my knives - but my little hatchets are not going to need that sort of attention in my lifetime
