My first knife handle

This is my first attempt at re-handling a knife, after the owner (a friend not me) managed to shoot the original rubber/plastic one while attempting to zero his rifle...

I hadn't oiled/waxed it when I took this photo, so the contrast between the oak and sepele is not as pronounced as it is now, but I forget to take another snap before returning it... The spacers are birch bark.

...I'd love to, but I only have my lounge to work in, and after melting a hole in the carpet practicing fire by friction, I'd probably manage to set light to the sofa if I tried setting up a forge

go on ebay u can find cheap efficiant forges.

and i work in a simple 7ft x 7ft x 7ft garden shed
