Mountain bike body armour?

Well I had a kidney removed a while back and could do with a kidney protector fo sporrs activities mountain biking, paintball etc..
Ideally I'm looking for a kidneya and back protector that's lightweight and breathable. The problem I'm having is that most seem to be kidney compression belts rather than padded/ armoured protectors. Has anyone seen or used an armoured kidney and back protector?

Are you using it for mountain biking?

I used http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mobile/MobileModels.aspx?ModelID=67297 for moto x, guess it could be used for downhill, but I foun you'll sweat no matter what you wear
