All sanded now. The top one is Birch, and the bottom one is sweet Chestnut.....

Same one as the ones available on the woodlore website. They used to be more expensive than a chap in Scotland I got mine from, but they've recently reduced their prices. Way better than the Frosts ones from Axminster!

some nice spoons you have carved there, i can carve spoons fine but i cant do the bowl of the spoons so i am going to invest in a crook knife, hopefully i will be posting some of mine soon
