Some more gear from ongoing thinning out of kit;
First off a great basic trauma med kit which covers the A,B,C,Ds. All new and either in date or no date on (ie the SAM splint, OP airway and the torniqet).
Contains a size 3 (normal adult) OP airway (Guedel type) in packet, no expiry date. An Asherman Chest Seal (expiry date 2012-11) which takes the guess work out of 3 or 4 sided seal to chest injuries as it has a patended valve, very easy to apply and monitor breathing once on. EFD or Isreali Dressing (as designed and made in Isreal) and again very easy to apply, great for the kind of knife/axe injuries found in bushcraft, expiry date 10/2011. Next a quick release velcro torniqet which can be used to control a bleed long enough to apply a decent dressing to self or other where there is a mass bleed, again no expiry date. A SAM splint in OG colour, very, very versitile bit of kit and again no expiry date on this type of item and to complete the kit a Waterjel burns dressing 15cmsx5cms for around the fire injuries, expiry date is 02/2011 foil packed. This is a good set up with out going too OTT, being light and compact as well as being realistic with bushcraft type injuries (falling on branches into chest, etc after the slow gin!!!

Next is a Nite Lite PP3 LED torch, never used just sat in a draw. It has 3 settings, low for map reading, high (very bright as magnified through lens) and strobe for long lasting signalling (can't remember the blurb but will go for several days and nights on one battery!) PP3 included. It has a lanyard loop hole and a great clip which swivels 360 to attache to pocket flap or hat, etc and is also magnetic. £6.50 SOLD inc 1st class RMRD.
Last is the issue bergen liner its all on, again never used and is huge in size 36"x24". £4.50 SOLD inc 1st class RMRD.
