Just finnished this one for my brother,

It is a banksia(SP) nut handle with a sheath by dougster and a mora 110 blade

Comments always welcom

(And before you say it the holes in the handle are supprisingly not noticable in use!)

How over-enthusiastic do you need to get with your fire-steel to get holes like that in your scales? :lmao: But seriously - very nice.

Very nice and unusual, certainly won't find someone at a moot with a handle the same in a hurry.

Silkstone, Blighty!
I'm sure Bernie did a handle in that stuff on one of his knives and filled the holes with epoxy and sanded back after it dried. Saying that, if the holes aren't uncomfy, they may even afford a bit of grip in the wet!

Well in Pignut, that is a handsome piece and no mistake. It's refreshing in it's honesty and resistance to the predictable. Nice knife from an 'outside the box' perspective and nice work as usual, by Dougster. A brave idea well executed
