mini .pocket proof strop

you may remember that i made a folding pocket proof strop a while back,well that got a new home and so i have made another one,this time thinner and smaller ,the idea is that an open strop in the pocket gets black crap all over your hands,pockets and anything else in the pocket so i designed a folding one ,on the previous one i used magnets to keep it shut but this one i made my own catch from a thin piece of brass.

That is a tidy looking strop, good job. And to think that I've been using a plastic bag to store my strop, your solution is far more elegant!

this one was quicker as i already worked out the method,took about 2 hours from start to finish.and yes custom scales on the SAK,red dyed stableised birch burl.
